Ramona DeBreaux is Radio, Television, & Digital Media’s Voice for Black Girl Magic! 

We’re not just talking about Ramona’s voice, which happens to be heard every day on national television commercials or on shows like The Trumpet Awards or The Soul Train Awards…

We mean Ramona has been the voice of countless women who live life fabulously and fearlessly, not just touting “Black Girl Magic”- but living it with her listeners!

It’s no wonder that her radio ratings have been record-breaking and her social media videos and posts have reached millions. 

In fact, the fun extends beyond the airways with Ramona’s digital videos, innovating everything from Cooking “How To” Hair Tutorials to Child Care & Auto Buying guides.  Ramona’s “Show Prep” Facebook Live, a rundown of news stories before her midday show, has garnered over 5 million views to date!

Whatever the conversation, Ramona has a voice. Educated in Sports Media and English,  this beauty has brains and can talk sports and politics with the best of them.  She broke records as the only African American to report for the US from Live 8 London to over 300 stations with Madonna, Snoop Dogg, Paul McCartney and more.  She’s even covered both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions for over 60 radio stations.

In the community, Ramona’s On Air features and community events have supported and spread awareness with renown industry professionals specifically in health and fitness. Not only has she been recognized as a leading on-air personality by BET in 2017, she grabbed the A.I.R. award for best PSA against Domestic Violence.  She has received nods from both National Urban League and the NAACP for her involvement with voter registration and mentorship programs.  Ramona has also been a repeat guest host providing social commentary for CNN.

From creating innovative & empowering radio and digital programs to chopping it up with the industries most notable personalities, Ramona DeBreaux is the purveyor of all things Black Girl Magic for listeners to aspire to.

RAMONA ON AIR!

To listeners and Industry Insiders who have worked with Ramona, it was no surprise when she boast the highest Midday numbers in the Atlanta market (Feb 2012) in history. In fact, during her Midday show at Atlanta’s Urban powerhouse V103, Ramona not only maintained the #1 position, she gained a whopping 30% more listeners, more than any personality in the market in a decade.

Why? There are many reasons. Ramona is a genuine personality, comparable only to the greats of yesterday.  Listeners, whom she calls “family”,  know she genuinely cares.  She has established herself in the community, leading initiatives in Health, Literacy & Voter Registration. Ramona teaches teen girls self love through interactive workshops with her organization Love Happi.

It was only natural that she would us her On Air platform to help the community. She had been a member of the NAACP & National Urban League since 13 years old. By 14 she published her first political commentary and even opened for Maya Angelou, Spike Lee, and  Dr. Cornell West.  In 1996 she was awarded a Full academic scholarship to the prestigious Springfield College where she studied English Literature/ Sports Media.

With undeniable musical talent combined with her love for Social Justice-mixed with a little Steelers Falcons or Hawks outing, Ramona is the multi- faceted personality TV & Radio had been waiting for.

Versed in Music, Pop Culture, Politics & Sports, Ramona has interviewed everyone from famed Quarterback Doug Williams to Icon Prince…She’s even snagged interviews with Secretary of State Hilliary Clinton & kicked it with Bono at Live 8 London but that is only the beginning!

She’s covered the DNC & RNC for over 77 radio stations. Ramona broadcast to hundreds of stations, representing the United States at Live 8. Currently, she is seen on at least 4 networks and heard on hundreds of stations around the world.

Ramona’s accomplishments exceed those in entertainment 20 years her senior. But beyond even that, Bigger things are on the horizon. Ramona, knowledgable in Digital Production, will now move into Television Production. Culminated by her creativity, On Air talent and knack of all things “Techie”, Ramona is set to establish herself as the next Media Powerhouse with upcoming projects with Number 1 box office producers & Media Executives.

VOCALIST & SONGWRITER

Ramona’s stunning rendition of the National Anthem has been compared to that of Whitney Houston,  stunning crowds at the Massachusetts Gubernatorial Inauguration, Atlanta Braves & Atlanta Hawks games. Ramona’s powerful vocals landed her 2 Major label recording contracts.

Ramona gained national attention when she teamed up with producer/ guitarist Tommy Gunn (Outkast, TLC). Ramonapenned and arranged  Let His Go,  a female anthem that gained over 700 spins Nationwide without a record label. It was a favorite among grammy winning celebs, and went on to usher in the second of three Major Recording deals, including a Production Artist deal with Def Jam for her collaboration with famed Affiliate producer Don Cannon  (Young Jeezy, Ludacris, 50 Cent) for her Gritty R&B Hip Hop Soul record One Chance.

Author

Inspired by continued reaction to her Woman’s Anthem Let His Go,  Ramona added Author to her resume when she published  Signs That It’s Time To Let Go” A Dump Your Mate Guidebook which sold thousands without an official release. That book became a TV show recognized by The Rachel Ray Show as “The Best of The Web”.

As if sheer vocal talent, raw on air presence wasn’t enough, Ramona DeBreaux has been spotted on NFL, VISA, TIMELIFE &Design Essentials Televison Commercials around the world!

She has been seen on (BETHer) Centric TV’s CultureList as the Atlanta Correspondent, On Camera for GoodLife TV and is on radio for V103 Atlanta. She was also cast in the role as dispatch for Tyler Perry's If Loving You Is Wrong.
